Don't waste your time. A baby was born from a rape, and by 2 the birth mother wasn't doing a very good job of being a mother and her baby was stolen. 30 years later it turns out the girl needed a kidney and her adoptive mother found out that her daughter was stolen as a baby. The birth mom extorted the adoptive mom and basically made her commit suicide. This movie just goes to show that the Mexican birth mother was actually a money grabbing bitch and didn't care if her daughter lived or died. They try to leave you guessing which "Mom" died, but it was pretty obvious it was the adoptive mom, who knew nothing about how her daughter was "adopted".

What started out as an intriguing movie the last 20 minutes was pure stupidity. The movie starts out with the two parents being the villains but it winds up that Carmen and her husband are moneygrubbing opportunists who will not donate a kidney unless they get paid. Oh please I started, realizing that it was so stupid that I started fast forwarding. The ending is absurd. You dedicate two hours of your life to watching a movie and they don't tell you which of the mothers died. It's a waste, and a waste of Dina Meyer and Tony Dennison. The audience deserves so much better than this film shame on the writers. They could've done so much more with sewing treat.
