Very Intreated and Interesting with good Intensity.
outrageously bad parenting
Why would you show your child the dying corpse of their father in the hospital like that? Of course the kid is traumatized. The mother just throws away entire home cooked meals without eating them... have they not heard of tupperware? Put videos of the dead father on a giant screen in the middle of the house and get drunk? Don't you think that creates an uncomfortable environment for the kid? I can't even get into the main themes of the film because the mother is just doing such an overwhelmingly terrible job of parenting or in any way creating a safe and productive environment for the child.
As for how the father died, it looks like the only way he could suffer such extreme injuries by running off a straight road was if he deliberately sped into the treeline.
Ugh... warning... the only thing scary here is the terrible human behavior
If you're into film that are short on development, super duper heavy on imposed atmosphere with a cast of characters acting in ways unbecoming actual humanity, this is for you. If you like films about kids who believe the rattling gooey voice coming from under their bed is looking out for their best interest while normal people shouldn't be trusted, this film is for you. If you like films where the remedy is to turn on a ducking light, but no one does, this is for you. Finally, if you're into boring wastes of time, this film is right up your alley. This will put you to sleep in record time. Melatonin ain't got nothing on this.
