Don't waste time watching this film. The story is poorly written, characters are plain, dialogues cold have bee written by a child. Not enjoyable by kids neither adults. As an example, at one point of the movie, the kid who has been living under the sea since ever, goes to the surface obviously doesn't know how to walk, but a minute after walks with no difficulty. And even worst the day after when he wakes up on the surface suddenly forget how to walk until a couple of minutes after when starts running and making tricks sliding and jumping. The rest of the movie has the same coherence as those scenes have. One of the worsts animation movies I have ever seen (I can not understand those critiques which say best animation movie of the year 2022).

Just one warning, if you take your children to see this animated movie as I did with my 4 year old daughter, likely that they will be a bit scared as it has very dark and grim tone througout. Jokes are there in some parts but they are not funny and wrongly placed. Animations are very solid, also setting under the see and it's characters are very vivid and impressionable. My question is for which audience is this movie as it is advertised as family fun type of and it not delivers there. So if you are looking for carefree time and lighthearted movie that will lift your spirit and make you laugh I would the avoid this one.

I wanted so much that this animation to be good and the only good thing about this animation is the movie poster, when you see the poster it put so much high expectations which is not meet during the mivie, graphic and animation is decent, voice over is soulless and very stiff and doesn't conveying any emotions, but the worst thing is the story, the story line doesn't make any sence and my 6 and 9 years old kids noticed that too, for example a boy that never spoke with any human suddenly speak fluently, and director wanted to tie the story to an plane crash that happened 30 years ago that doesn't make any sense.
