Judy (Dina Meyer) is a major league babe and single mom. She meets Mr. Wonderful on-line and by the time the credits are done she had been raped by a creepy David Hess wanna-be(Vicent Spano as Scott). After Judy does the proverbial shower and doesn't call the police, she then strolls on down to Scott's office to "discuss what had happened." (At this point I'm starting to sympathize with Scott.)
Oddly, Scott is not as receptive as Judy had imagined and threatens to destroy Judy if she makes any trouble. Judy is part of a book club with Rebecca (Lea Thompson)and Sharlene (Lela Rochon). Rebecca is married to a lawyer (David) who just found out about her affair with Aaron. She doesn't know what to do. She loves David, but the sex is better with Aaron. Sharlene had been abused by her father.
Judy becomes obsessed with revenge on Scott, a man who seems to have no past. She eventually confides in her friends. Judy makes headway but confronts dead ends as the dialogue digresses into third rate movie: "God ain't dead, but surely he's asleep."
As you look at the DVD cover, you can figure out where this leads as the DVD box is the plot spoiler. Dina Meyer is no Farrah Fawcett. No nudity. No F-bombs.

EXTREMITIES RIP-OFF
If You Like Dina Myer, Here She Is
Dina Myer shines in virtually everything she does & you know what you're getting when you watch one of her flicks. This particular movie takes too long to get to where it needs to go. Fast forwarding through some of the slower parts helps...and Dina Myer looks great at whatever speed she moves. Lea Thompson in a supporting role? Sign me up!
spoilers - a story of revenge
SPOILERS --wow. Pretty low rating on imdb and on tomatoes, as of today. Roku has this as balancing the books, but imdb thinks it's fatal secrets. One demerit for strange editing... all kinds of jumps, just in the first two minutes, in a scene which is supposed to start out romantic and cozy. I guess that was the director's way of getting the viewer's attention, since it morphs into a rape scene. Which then morphs into waking from a dream. Confusing. Julia (dina meyer) appears to have been raped by a co-worker (vincent spano), but instead of going to the police, she starts stalking him. Some fun co-stars; ed begley. Lea thompson had her own tv series in the nineties. There's a weird, un-necessary flashback 27 minutes in... we're shown a quick summary of the horrible event, even though we just watched it twenty minutes back, and we all remember it well. Bad editing. Two minutes later, julia is touching her friend's scars, as they trade stories. Did she really need to touch them? Some odd directing choices being made. Clearly, with the anger julia is holding on to, she needs to go to the coppers, but instead she breaks into his house. A fair amount of suspense.. first waiting to see if julia gets caught. And later seeing if they can actually get justice for all the evil he has done. Thompson gives a great performance. Many references to "justice".. julia's friends keep talking about justice for what she went through, and her co-worker scott has a book titled justice for all. And one of the actors in the film is actually named justice. The story is mostly sound. Clearly has some producion flaws. Directed by meir sharony. Story by cathy cotter. Not the best film ever made, but probably not the worst.
