I had no idea what to expect when I watched Mr. Crocket. But I was delighted by a messed up, hilarious, demented, colorful and imaginative presentation of a love for classic horrors. If you want to see some really twisted characters while having a few laughs at the absurdity of a kids show host coming to murder you, tune in to this perfect edition to your Halloween lineup. The performances really shine and you can tell that there was a lot of thought that went into creating this new iconic horror villain. Huluween has knocked it out of the park with Mr. Crocket and I cannot wait to see a sequel.

I'm a horror fan. I watch horror all the time and only occasionally switch to other things. This isn't horror. This is bad acting with a bad script and bad characters with a bit of gore thrown in. Badly done gore at that.

The film is set before mobile phones and the internet were commonly used so at least there are a couple of things that don't happen that usually happens like no service or a dead battery.

Instead it's a video tape. Because apparently there aren't enough VHS movies already and The Ring movies didn't satisfy the possessed tape enough.

If this took more than a week to film then at least 6 of those days were totally wasted.

It's just all around bad and not even in a funny way.

What if Mr Rogers had deep psychological issues and whimsically murder bad parents?

That's pretty much what this movie is. And honestly, I enjoyed it. It's not the perfect movie, I actually think the visuals were a little more tamed than what I expected, but it was fun watch. I also think the pacing was little fast, but it worked well. The introduction was pretty good, I was definitely drawn in by the first 5 minutes.

The warped puppets, the songs, and pretty decent cast. Mr Crocket is pretty fun character and not overly complex.

I really liked how it had an open ending. I think ultimately it's not a movie for everyone. Definitely got my attention.
