compelling story worth a watch
Good film. This is worth a watch. Director Rod Scott does a nice job telling the compelling and emotional story of a 19 year old De'Andres' journey to survive and find a better life. The odds are against him and his success and the film delivers in very real clarity. Everyone, not matter of their background, will be able to relate, or at least understand, the characters and situations. Many of the themes have been told in other movies but they play well here. Worth a watch.
A terrific film!
This is such a terrific film! I thoroughly enjoyed this gem of a film from beginning to end. It had wonderful acting and it's a great story. I loved the social subtext of this film! It got its point across without being preachy. Bravo to the director, Rod S. Scott. He kept the pace up in this film such I never got bored. I highly recommend this film and it gets a big thumbs up from me.
