Plot summary

The traditional Romanian typologies are finely satirized by the author Geo Saizescu, who is in full creative maturity. We thus find the opportunist politician, played by the master Geo Saizescu himself, three of the characters of the Romanian village: the mayor, the tavern keeper and the priest, played brilliantly by prominent personalities of the Romanian scene.—Canon y mus
