A (psycological) journey into the past

Ratings mean very little to me, at the end of the day, every film is purely a subjective experience.

A film halfway between psychological thriller and horror. Good choice of English (with French subtitles), which gives it a more international appeal. Good actors, good photography, sound and location. The protagonist of this story, is a young and psychologically fragile young woman (Regine) who must return to confront the ghosts of the past. There is no lack of tension and a decent the final twist. The script leaves something to be desired, but it is offset by well-made flashbacks, capable of revealing some of the plot secrets at the right moment.

Grotesque in a cringey way

The first half is fine. At first you don't know what's going on, but then little by little, you start to get the idea. Maybe you'll guess the twist along the way, but good cinematography, sound effects and acting will probably keep you invested in the story enough to carry on. At least for a while.

And then in the second half, it falls on its face. And keeps falling deeper and deeper. I won't spoil it here, but you'll know it when it happens... and keeps happening.

It becomes grotesque to the point it loses its edge and gets laughable instead of creepy. You won't die out of fear, but cringe might just do the job.

No!

What the hell it rate of 6.9? Noway. Just a nothing of this movie and not horror at all. Please remade and return my money back !
